Our Philosophy
At The Valley Preschool, we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life. We are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow through play. Our passionate and dedicated team of staff are trained to support each child's individual needs and interests, and we work closely with parents to ensure that every child reaches their full potential. We are proud to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, which helps children to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in school and beyond.
Woodland School
At The Valley Preschool, we strive to create a unique learning experience for our young learners. We offer a wide range of activities that make the most of our location in the South Downs National Park. Our team draw on their Norwegian Woodland School training to ensure children continuously embrace the outdoors - we are privileged to have such outstanding beauty on our doorstep and look for as many opportunities as we can to allow the children to engage with their natural surroundings and the extended community within our local villages.

The Valley Preschool was founded decades ago by a group of parents from the local area.
Our ambition is to provide a stimulating environment for children to realise their full potential, both socially and by learning through play.
As a committee run charity, we fundraise throughout the year, working hard to keep our setting affordable for all children of the Meon Valley because we believe affordable accessible childcare is critical for rural communities like ours.
